Kopp Glass will be hosting Pennsylvania Cable Network (PCN), a special interest cable
television station, on February 26, 2004 for a documentary on our glass making
process. This one hour show will review in depth the unique craftsmanship and the
sophisticated and complex nature of our business.
- Aerospace Lighting Institute (ALI)
Kopp presented two technical papers at the February 2004 ALI Conference in Los

- Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) Award
Kopp was presented with the 1st Annual Shay Lean Award for the presentation with the
highest technical content. The subject of the presentation was “Glass Fundamentals as
Applied to LED Technology”. This paper describes Kopp’s research and engineering
efforts to maximize light transmission at specific wavelengths corresponding to various
LED sources.
